No one should have to walk on eggshells at home
Danner works to end violence against women and children and create a society where everyone can live a life free from violence.
Through its women’s shelter, counselling, knowledge and advocacy, Danner supports women and children affected by violence - while working to prevent violence and create lasting societal change.
Challenge
For many women, home is not the safe place it should be. Domestic violence is not only physical. It can also be the fear, control and constant uncertainty that makes someone carefully consider every word and every move. The challenge was to bring that reality closer and create awareness around the violence that often takes place behind closed doors.
Solution
In close collaboration with Danner, we developed and produced the campaign “Ingen skal gå på listetæer i eget hjem” - “No one should have to walk on eggshells in their own home.” We created a simple and emotionally grounded story that made the often invisible sense of insecurity inside the home visible - highlighting the constant adjustment many women exposed to violence live with.
The campaign turned a difficult and complex subject into a story that could be understood and felt.
